In 2016, at the Crop and Create Event, I took a class from Virginia Nebel. I did 2 out of the four layouts but didn't finish because I didn't have the appropriate photos.
Here is the first one, finally finished!

I love the colours blue, teal, turquoise. These cards incorporate mostly blue. I stamped two images so I had one to practice on and the other to use in a card. BUT, they both turned out so I was able to make two cards - yay!
Note: I flipped the sketch horizontally. I just noticed that the date is wrong - I WISH we could go on a cruise this year! I have since fixed it.
These photos are of the desserts we ate at the Pinnacle Restaurant on our cruise ship. I had the chocolate soufflé and hubby had the Baked Alaska (which looks like a funny face!). Both were SO YUMMY!
This challenge is to use some "old" products - leftovers or scraps from a previous project.
I cut up some of the leftover scraps from my last layout and made a border for this layout. I also used the last two word stars from that kit. When I realized that it read out SUPER STAR, I thought of the photos I had taken of the TV screen of the 50th Anniversary show of when the Beatles first played on the Ed Sullivan show. I had watched the original show 50 years ago, so I found a photo of that time, on line.
