Father's Day - 2007

This layout is TOTALLY scraplifted from someone else's idea (I found it on the web somewhere and forgot to note down where). The only thing different is the trim and alphas that I used. All paper and diecuts (except green background which is Prima Marketing) are Graphic 45 - A Proper Gentleman.

Vatican City - 2006

Will these Italy pages EVER be finished? Well, two more down thanks to the CTMH workshop on Sunday. This is the last one for this session with a 2-month break and then we start again in September.

This layout used the Passages kit and miscellaneous photos taken in the Vatican during our trip to Italy in 2006.

Take-out Menu Organizer

I was invited to a Bridal Shower and the theme was "kitchen". Now, anyone who knows me, knows that I am NOT a kitchen kind of gal. I do not cook or bake. I don't like it - I do like to eat though. So WHAT the heck was I going to get someone for a kitchen shower? I was bemoaning this fact to DH and saying the only thing I was good at was ordering from a take-out menu. THAT's when I had the "ah ha" moment. How about a take-out menu organizer? Everyone has take-out menus - even the best cook in the world needs a break sometimes and something ordered in. So I decided to make one (since I didn't have time to find one already made).

I took a "Making Memories" album and converted it. The letters on the spine were cut using my seldom-used Cricut. I did up the tables for the list on MicroSoft word and made some tabs. I think it turned out pretty well and the bride-to-be seemed to like it!

Lip Synch 2007- John Fogerty

It took a bit of persuasion, but we finally talked our director into taking part in our Lip Synch event. He played John Fogerty all decked out in baseball gear (which he also provided to the back up dancers) to sing "Centrefield".

This two-page layout is done using the "Rock Star" Level 2 kit papers from Close to My Heart.
