SSZ - June Kit Reveal

This month's ScrapShotz kit is mostly BoBunny's "Hello Sunshine" - a bright colourful summery line with a flower and bee theme. 

Here are the layouts (the 3 cards aren't shown) that I came up with.

This first one is DH, Mom and Dad on our ATV in 2003.

Our friend was in town to celebrate his 51st birthday with friends and family - 2007. This layout is based on a sketch from Big Picture Classes - It Takes Two.

Here I am at age 3.

The PG5 Mascot. It actually sings and dances!

Sea Lions - 2011

Based on Big Picture Classes - It Takes Two - Week 3 Sketch 1, this layout uses MAMBI patterned paper.  The alphas are Tim Holtz grungeboard, inked and glazed. 

Here we are swimming with the sea lions in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. So much fun!

Graceland 2005

Based on Big Picture Classes -  It Takes Two - Week 3 Sketch 3, photos of Graceland.

Background paper is BoBunny and all the Elvis embellishments (except ribbon border on the bottom) is EK Success. 

Princess - 2011

Based on Big Picture Classes -  It Takes Two - Week 3 Sketch 4, this is my great-niece last Christmas. She is dressed up in the princess costume she received for Christmas.

A combination of MAMBI and K&Company.  The large crown on the right page actually lights up!

CTMH WOTG - Footloose

Three layouts done at the Close to My Heart - Workshop on the Go this past Sunday.......well, two done at the workshop and the last one finished at home....

The first one is of the beaches in and around Albufeira, Portugal in 2007.

This layout is all about the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet, Florida this March.

At last (but not least) are us 3 siblings (and our friend) at the beach on the French Riviera - 1959.

This beautiful villa is in the town of Ravello, Italy.  Everything K&Company except the alphas and trim.

We went overnight to Toronto for my friend's 50th birthday.  Mostly K&Company paper, etc and LYB journaling block. The Toronto diecut I've had forever.

The cathedral in Granada, Spain. I used K&Company papers, Tim Holtz washi tape and a LYB journaling tag.

Meeting Rylan - Xmas 2011

Week 1 - Sketch 4 of "It Takes Two" class.

Used Prima Nursery Tales PP, K&Company alphas, Want 2 Scrap pearls and rest from my stash.

We met my great-nephew for the first time at this past Christmas - he was 2 months old.

NavCan 2011

Portugal Hotel - 2007

This is sketch 2 from "It Takes Two" class.

I used Teresa Collins paper and elements plus Bazzill CS for this layout.  All the photos are of our the hotel (and view from hotel) we stayed at for two weeks in Portugal -  March, 2007. There are NINE photos on this layout!

Universal Characters - 2012

I signed up for a class over at Big Pictures Scrapbooking called "It Takes Two".  Each week (for 4 weeks) you get four 2-page sketches and 2 versions of the sketches by the teachers - May Flaum and Nic Howard. 

Here is sketch 3 from week 1.

I used the CS and elements from the SSZ March kit. The lasercut of Universal Studios I've had forever.

Friendship 2012

This was done for the May layout tag at SSZ using BoBunny Weekend Market line.

I was VERY fortunate that my friend from Red Deer, who was here for a family wedding, was able to squeeze in some time for me. Her DH snapped a photo of us together.

SSZ May Kit - Heidi Swapp No Limits

This kit was a travel themed one, using Heidi Swapp's No Limit line.  Perfect for me!

This layout is based on the sketch. Here we are at Cap St. Vincent near the town of Sagres in Portugal in 2007

Inside that mini flip album (with the camera on it) are 19 more photos of the castle we stayed in at Estremoz, Portugal - 2007. 

If you look at the reflection in DHs sunglasses, you can see the ocean view from a restaurant in Provincetown (Cape Cod) MA - 2011.

While we lived in France, we did MANY English Channel crossings to visit Mom's family in England.  These photos were taken in 1958-59.
