CTMH WOTG

This month's kit was called Stella and we did three layouts.  I didn't do the 2nd page of the 3rd layout because I didn't like it (I'm a rebel......)

This one is the single page of my Mom as a blonde in 1959.

This is our friends' place down in Florida where we spent a week in March this year.

The other layout was used for the Brady Bunch Grid challenge.

More challenges

77 Sunset Strip (TV show) - use strips of paper and/or a number

I had learned how to do this photo trick where you take three photos of something and then combine them into one.  I finally was able to scrap this photo of Cassie.

Brady Bunch (TV show) - make a grid

My friend's 60th birthday party.

Other Challenges

Feeling Groovy - use grooves/texture on your project

My DH and I went to see Long John Baldry on our first date (1981).  Since I don't have photos of this event, I downloaded a photo of him from the internet.  The grooves are on the record album paper behind the photo.

The Beach Boys - anything beachy/water related on your project

Cocoa Beach in March 2012

Landing on the Moon - use quote "Always aim for the Moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars" W Clement Stone

Kennedy Space Centre photos, taken in March 2012

My Challenges

Here are my two challenges that I posted for the on-line crop:

1967 Canada turned 100 - anything Canadian using red/white (colour of the flag that was introduced in 1965)

Here are the photos I took at the age of 14 at Expo 67. I've included my original passport.

The Birds (movie) - use birds on your project

My friend on her 60th birthday. The paper is from the April SSZ kit.

SSZ On-Line Crop

ScrapShotz just had another on-line crop. The theme this time was THE SIXTIES (groovy man).

It was lots of fun and we had LOTS of challenges and inspriration.

I completed 14 challenges (including my 2) but I will only show the layouts that I did (not the cards).

I (heart) Horton - 2012

This layout encompassed TWO SSZ challenges - the Layout Tag and the colour palette challenge.

Here I am in Universal Studios getting my photo taken with Horton the Elephant (my favourite elephant).

I meant what I said, and said what I meant. An elephant faithful, 100%

Telephone Exchange - 1952

This layout was done for a SSZ challenge to be inspired by something.  Well the PageMaps sketches always inspire me (and so does my Mom) so here is my mom (the lady at the top, not wearing glasses) working at the telephone exchange before she met my Dad.

I used Graphic 45 - Communique line for this layout.

SSZ April Kit Reveal

This month's ScrapShotz kit is the fun, spring coloured Fancy Pants line called "Be You".  I did four layouts and 5 cards (not shown).

This first one is of my Dad last Xmas.

I added some fancy metallic Mickey paper clips to this one of Downtown Disney - 2009.

Here's my little brother in 1959.

And here's my DH and our great-niece in 2010.
