Fall in New Hampshire - 2017

We took a week long mini trip to New Hampshire and Maine last fall.  The weather and colours were gorgeous!

The first page is going through Mt. Washington State Park. The second page is at our hotel.

This Close to My Heart Workshop designed by our consultant Julie Carriere was actually held last October. But I missed it so I completed it this past weekend.

Using the kit - Falling for You

To colour in the gold heat embossed leaves I used pencil crayons: Prismacolor

I find this layout a bit busy but it's my fault. On my consultant's example, the background stenciling and stamping of the leaves are much more subtle than mine.
I also changed it up a bit by adding a journaling box on page 2.

The solid feathers are cut from gold paper (not CTMH).

Waupoos - 2017

A friend came for a visit while I was at my Mom's so we took her to a local winery.

The font used for the title (cut on a Cricut) is Brush Script

Westport - 2016

Journaling:
Driving home from Mom’s, I encountered a very bad thunderstorm. It was so dark and stormy, I decided to spend the night in Westport. The next day I was greeted with this beautiful sight.
