SSZ February kit reveal

Here are the four layouts I did for the ScrapShotz February kit reveal. I also did 3 cards (not shown). The kit consists mostly of Echo Park - Yours Truly papers in red, white, black, grey and pink. 

This first one (based on the sketch) are photos of me and my two best friends when I lived in Montreal in 1967. I was fourteen years old.

Next is my beautiful sister on her wedding day back in 1980.  This is the first photo of their wedding I have ever scrapped!

This next layout features the Valentine's treat I made DH last year.

And here is the ONLY photo I have of my cousin's wedding where I was a bridesmaid - 2nd from the left (1968). I included the original wedding invitation as well.

Nephew and Nieces - 2011

Cape Cod - 2011

Last fall we spent a glorious 2 weeks camping in Cape Cod.  The weather was the best 2 weeks they had all year.  Here are some miscellaneous photos.

Weekend in Toronto - 2010

In March of 2010, my niece invited me down to Toronto for the weekend to stay at her apartment.  It was a dreary, rainy weekend, but we still had fun. 

These 2 pages were done at my CTMH WOTG - Typeset kit.  We did THREE 2-page layouts instead of our normal two. So I didn't get them all done during that time period. I finished them up in the last two days (titles and journaling).

Judy - 1985

A few years ago a friend of mine gave me some photos she had taken of another mutual friend, Judy.  She wanted me to scrapbook them for her.  I put it off for a long time because it was difficult to do emotionally (Judy passed away 2 years after these photos were taken) and I was worried I wouldn't do her justice. 

BUT, I bit the bullet and did up this layout as a Christmas gift for my friend.  I gave it to her yesterday and she really liked it. Phew!

All paper and embellishments are BoBunny - Mammarazzi plus some extra bling from my stash and Prima flowers. I think the rose ribbon at the bottom of the page is American Craft? The lace glove is one that Judy was wearing in the photos.

Arriving at the Church - 1984

Using a combination of paper and embellishments from 2 of the ScrapShotz kits - January 2011 and December 2011 and a PageMaps bonus sketch from the 2012 PageMaps Calendar.

Dad and I arriving at the church in my sister's brand new "K" car (we couldn't afford a limousine).  The first question out my mouth upon arriving at the church was "Is Dan here?" LOL!
