Blues Brothers - 2007

Another layout for my Lip Synch album. This is Jason and I as the Blues Brothers. He was Elwood and I was Jake. I used some older paper, grungeboard alphas, thin ribbon, metal airplane and the Blues Brothers icon was downloaded from the internet.

Wahine - 2009

The journaling reads:

Who takes a photo of a bathroom sign? I DO!

I wasn't going to scrap this photo - I thought it was too hokey. BUT, at the "Use your Stash" class I'm taking, May talks about using photos, "just because". So I decided to scrap this photo. I took it, I like it, so I scrapped it...so THERE!

I scraplifted one of May's layouts, and used the following:
Patterned Paper: BoBunny
Borders and Flourishes: K&Company
Trim: unknown - had it forever
Chipboard: Maya Road
Alpha Stickers: Websters

Grandma Banks - 1940s

I found some old photos of my paternal grandmother who died before I was born.

This layout was done for the "Use your Stash" class. The challenge was to scraplift a layout of the instructors. I used up some K&Company paper plus 5 different ribbons/trim, flowers, buttons and brads.

Luau - September 2009

Based on Week 1 sketch for the "Use your Stash" class I'm doing. I was able to use this "Luau" paper I bought in Hawaii (specifically for this layout - but was having a hard time doing it, until I saw this sketch). I used some old ribbon, I've had forever and LOTS of flowers.

Snow in Virginia - 2010

As part of my "Use your Stash" class, I was determined to use some of my old (never used) kits from JustCre8. This one is from July 07 and is mostly summery paper, but the brown and blue reminded me of snow. So I used those papers plus other items from my stash for the photos I took of the snow we saw in Virginia while visiting there in February of this year. It was the first time we've seen snow in Virginia. They had more snow that WE did this winter!

Patterned Paper: American Crafts
Cardstock: Bazill
Large Alphas: Melissa Frances
Small Alphas: Making Memories
Large Acrylic Snowflakes: Heidi Swapp
Other snowflakes: unknown
Rhinestones: Mark Richards
Snowman: cut out from old paper

Hi Deer - 2009

I'm taking a class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking to use up your stash (and goodness knows I have a LOT of stash to use up!)

One of the first challenges was to scaplift one of the teacher's layouts and only pick three things to use. I didn't scraplift the look of the layout, per se, but did get inspired by the deer on it. I had this other deer paper and have never know what to do with it so I was determined to use it! I also chose my three items: 1 - flowers 2 - chipboard 3 - rickrack.

This is the layout I came up with.

Paper - Colorbok?
Rickrack, bling - CTMH
Flowers - Prima
Alpha chipboard - Tim Holtz grungeboard (inked with CTMH ink)

Royal Kona Resort - 2009

Photos of the last resort we stayed in on the Big Island of Hawaii. FABULOUS PLACE!

Everything used is from CTMH including the Moon Doggie kit except for the title which were done using Simply Wordsworth stamps.
