Mackenzie King Estates - 2009

A day trip to the Mackenzie King Estates in the Gatineau Hills with the CMHC Retiree Alumni group. Although it was a cloudy day, the rains held off for us. We had a lovely lunch there as well.

The second layout done at the CTMH Workshop on the Go .

VIEW - 2009

We had just finish touring a coffee farm and it was lunch time. We asked the tour guide where was a good place for lunch. She told of this place just up the road that had good food, home baked bread and desserts on site and a fantastic view. She was RIGHT! And....we had this cute little guy visit us!

This layout was the first of two at our CTMH Workshop on the Go for this month.

Banks - 1930

This wonderful photo deserved a special layout. So I CASEd (copy and steal everything) a layout by JustSue using the March 09 JustCre8 kit. It's a photo of my grandfather, grandmother, Auntie Ev and my dad (the baby).

Coastguard Beach (Cape Cod) - 2008

After I retired, we went to Cape Cod. Here we are at the Coastguard Beach which is close to the Nauset Lighthouse.

This layout was done with a CTMH kit using a layout from the Reflections book.

Hawaii's First Church - 2009

This church was just up the street from our resort on the Big Island.

The challenge (from the class "Use Your Stash") was to use themed stickers. I had bought some Hawaiian stickers while we were there. The layout is based on a sketch from October 2010 issue of Scrapbooks Etc. and I used the March 09 JustCre8 kit. The smaller flowers were bought in Hawaii as well.

Mia - 2009

Another layout for the Use Your Stash class. This was a challenge to scraplift one of the layouts from the gallery. I chose one from onescrappygirl. I have TONS of cat-themed products so wanted to use up some of them. I came up with this layout of Mia (our older cat).
